A Poem

I can feed her, dress her, bathe her.
But I can't heal her inside.
I can give her physio and medication.
But I can't make her well.
I can cuddle her through needles and worse.
But I can't stop them being necessary.
I can raise money, educate people, spread awareness,
But it will never be enough.
I can, and do, love her with all of my heart.
But I can't save her.
